How to
Book and Make Travel Arrangements
If you are interested in
booking, or inquiring about booking, on one of our Seaquest Seminars,
please
.
Your booking with the
Seaquest group automatically enrolls you in your seminar on that
sailing, which is included as part of the basic trip fee. If someone in
your party does not wish to be included in the seminar, please inform
our agent for this trip.*
You will need to have the
following information when you call to book:
- Seaquest Seminars group sailing date
you are requesting.
- Class of stateroom desired.
- Number of people in your
party (normally 2 per stateroom). Please provide the name of each
person as it appears on your travel documents (should be the same as
will appear on your travel ID). Please also be prepared to provide the
citizenship and age of each person traveling.
- How you would like your
beds arranged in the cabin (as singles, or as a large queen).
- First and second choice for
dinner seating in the ships's main dining room (this will mean either
an early seating which, depending on the ship, typically begins between
5:30 pm to 6:15 pm, or a later seating begining in the range of 7:30 pm
to 8:30 pm depending on the ship. Please ask us about the dinner
seating times for the ship we will be on.). On board you can also
choose
from one or more alternate dining venues - either casual or specialty -
if you wish. All
meals on board, including room service, are included in the
course/cruise fee, with the exception of new specialty restaurant(s)
which may have a surcharge. Please be aware that most cruise lines also
charge for alcoholic beverages and sodas, and may charge for juices at
certain times of day.
- In-port excursions
you wish to book (the most popular may sell out early).
- Any air, transfer, hotel,
rental car, or other travel arrangements you would like our agent to
make for your party in connection with this trip.
- Method by which payment
will be made. A $500 per person deposit will be required at the time of
booking, and a second deposit of $350 per person by 4 months before the
sailing. The full balance is due no later than 3 months before sailing.
- Trip insurance arrangements. We highly
recommend this very affordable insurance (please see the cancellation fee
schedule). If you choose to decline trip insurance, you will
be asked to complete, sign, and send in a trip insurance waiver form.
- Any special needs or
requests you may have.
The agent for our trip will
make and
confirm these arrangements with you. Travel documents (including those
from the cruise line) will be sent to you a timely fashion following
receipt of full payment.
Please note that
since on the Mexico itinerary we will be traveling to ports outside the
U.S., United States citizens will need to carry either a valid
U.S. passport, or a government issued photo ID card and a
certified copy (or the original) of their birth certificate. Citizens
of other nations should carry their passports and any necessary visas.
Non-U.S. citizens who have been previously admitted to the United
States for permanent residence must also carry their Permanent Resident
Card, commonly known as a Green Card. You, solely, are responsible for
having required documents with you.
You are also responsible
for obtaining any necessary immunizations. Please check with a travel
medicine specialist or local health department for specific
recommendations or requirements. You may find useful information by
checking the U.S. Centers for Disease Control Website at
www.cdc.gov/travel.
Note: We strongly recommend
travel insurance to protect your investment should an emergency require
full or partial trip cancellation. The policies that the agent for our
trip can
recommend also include basic health and health-related transportation
insurance. It is always prudent to check with your health insurance
company regarding policy coverage outside your home area. Please note that
most trip
insurance policies do not cover pre-existing medical
conditions, unless you purchase the policy at the time of booking the
trip, or in some cases up to 14 days thereafter.
Should you have any
remaining questions concerning the Seaquest seminar itself after
reviewing the seminar
information, please
.
*$250 will be subtracted
from the trip fee for a person in a party who will not be attending the
seminar. At least one member of the party (normally occupying one
stateroom) should be booked in the seminar. Please note that the
minimum age to attend the seminar is 16 (should be paired with someone
age 18 or older in your party).
