How to Enroll and Make Travel Arrangements
Enrollment and making travel arrangements can all be accomplished in one easy step! ... Simply contact Mr. Brian Clarke at Goldrush Getaways (phone: 1-800-377-6765), Tuesday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, Pacific coast time.
Or,to reserve your place outside of these hours, just submit the short Reservation Form. Brian will then contact you to complete the reservation process.
Goldrush is the travel agency chosen by Seaquest Seminars to facilitate enrollment and trip reservations.* A recent decision by Holland America has enabled Seaquest Seminars to temporarily offer discounts on stateroom costs exceeding 75% in some cases. Take advantage of this special opportunity.
Tell Brian that you would like to join the Seaquest Seminars group for the week you select. Brian can make your Holland America reservation (including cabin selection), and assist you with any other travel-related needs such as air travel, transfer, rental car, hotel stays, and travel insurance.
Your reservation with the Seaquest group will automatically enroll you in the courses on that sailing, which are included as part of your basic trip fee.
Please provide the following information when you call Brian:
- Seaquest Seminars group sailing date you are requesting.
- Class of cabin desired. Please note that, as part of this group, Seaquest Seminars is happy to provide you with a complementary one class cabin upgrade, inside-to-inside, or outside-to-outside.
- Number of people enrolling (normally 2 per cabin). Please provide the name of each person as it appears on your travel documents (should be the same as will appear on your travel ID). Please also be prepared to provide the citizenship and age of each person traveling.
- How you would like your beds arranged in the cabin (as singles, or as a large queen).
- Request for the first (approximately 6:00 pm) or the second (approximately 8:15 pm) dinner seating in the ships's main dining room (on board, you can also choose alternate dining venues - either casual or specialty - if you wish). All meals on board, including room service, are included in the course/cruise fee, with the exception of the new specialty restaurant for which Holland America requires a surcharge on a per meal basis. Please be aware that Holland also charges for alcoholic beverages and sodas.
- Holland America excursions you wish to book (the most popular may sell out early).
- Any air, transfer, hotel, rental car, or other travel arrangements you would like to make through Goldrush in connection with this trip.
- Method by which payment will be made (a deposit of $450 will be required at the time of booking, with the balance due 3 months before your sailing date). Your course/cruise fee including deposit will be charged or forwarded directly to Holland America by Goldrush.
- Trip insurance arrangements you desire. Please ensure that the major elements of your trip will be covered, including the Seaquest workshops (see below). Brian can offer quality policies at competitive rates. If you choose to decline trip insurance, please complete and send in the Travel Insurance Waiver included on this website.
- Any special needs or requests.
Brian will make and confirm these arrangements with you. Travel documents (including those from Holland America) will be sent to you a timely fashion.
Please note that since we will be traveling to Mexico, United States citizens will need to carry either a valid U.S. passport, or a government issued photo ID card and a certified copy of their birth certificate. Citizens of other nations should carry their passports, and any necessary visas. Non-U.S. citizens who have been previously admitted to the United States for permanent residence must also carry their Permanent Resident Card, commonly known as a Green Card. You, solely, are responsible for having required documents with you.
You are also responsible for obtaining any necessary immunizations. Please check with a travel medicine specialist or local health department for specific recommendations or requirements. You may find useful information by checking the U.S. Centers for Disease Control Website at www.cdc.gov/travel.
Note: We strongly recommend travel insurance to protect your funds should you have an emergency requiring full or partial trip cancellation. The policies that Brian can recommend also include basic health and health-related transportation insurance. It is always prudent to check with your health insurance company regarding policy coverage outside your home area. Please note that most trip insurance policies do not cover pre-existing medical conditions, unless you purchase the policy at the time of booking the trip, or in some cases up to 14 days thereafter.
